French Boys’ Choir
The French Boys’ Choir from Paris, France will be performing a concert on Thursday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Church.
Children globetrotters, les Moineaux have been singing and travelling in France and all over the world for nearly 70 years.
This institution gives young boys a special experience of life through singing and group life. Traveling in various countries also gives them the opportunity to discover different cultures. Their life is made of concerts, television shows, singing lessons, tours and participating in the liturgy.
They regularly give concerts of the repertoire (Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, etc.) in prestigious places, and also sing for humanitarian causes.
Les Moineaux will be on tour in the South East of the United States this Summer 2022. They will offer concerts including music from the sixteenth century to the present day – and the well known Hallelujah from Handel, Ave Maria from Gounod, as well as music pieces of the French folklores. They will also exclusively sell their last CD.
Due to the Covid, this choir performs in a chamber choir configuration (8 teenagers and young men) and is conducted and accompanied by François OLIVIER, who is also the Titular of the Choir Organ at the prestigious church St. Eustache at Paris (France).
There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted.
