Magnifica Humanitas: On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence.

This past Monday, Pope Leo XIV published his first encyclical Magnifica Humanitas: On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence. At the heart of this encyclical, which I highly encourage you to read, Pope Leo XIV reminds us that w emust be cautious in our use of technology like AI as it does not possess a soul and can never replace the dignity of the human person. Removal of the human element creates isolation and ruptures communion/community. This should be defended against at all cost!
