“A People of Life” will be our free movie for July. Please come join our faithful monthly “free movie groupies” and Assumption’s Divine Mercy Group who will host the showing of “A People of Life”. “A People of Life” is the story of the pro-life movement in North America and the role that the Knights of Columbus has played over nearly four decades in the effort to help replace today’s culture of death with a culture of life. It is a story of extraordinary dedication on the part of millions of Knights and their families, and a guide to what it will take to succeed in the end. “A People of Life” examines all the threats to human life &the dignity in the modern age: abortion, embryonic stem cell research and euthanasia. It is a call to every faithful Catholic to embrace and advance the cause of life. “A People of Life” will start at 6:30pm on Friday July 19th in Kohls hall. As usual snacks, candy, popcorn, pretzels, and also refreshments will be served at no cost to you. If you want, or need, babysitting for children under the age of 10 years old, please call our rectory at 904-398-1963.
