The Florida Eucharistic Congress is next weekend (June 17-18)!

This year’s Eucharistic Congress is packed full of Eucharistic celebrations, dynamic speakers, and time for fellowship with our brothers and sisters from around the diocese.

***Here are some helpful tips to help you prepare for the two-day event on June 17-18 in Gainesville and Jacksonville.***

For more information and details, visit https://flec.dosafl.com.

 The Eucharistic Congress is FREE. Bring your friends and family. All are welcome!

 There will be a Eucharistic Procession led by Archbishop Nelson Perez following the 8:30 a.m. Mass.

 The Children’s track is the only gathering that requires parents to complete and sign a registration form in advance. There is no charge for children to attend. Visit https://flec.dosafl.com/childrens-track for details and forms.

 Reconciliation will be available on both days of the Eucharistic Congress except during Mass on Friday evening at 6:30 and Saturday morning at 8:30.

 A lunch hour is provided on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. You are welcome to bring a lunch and tailgate or purchase food from one of the five food trucks that will be available on site. And there are several nearby fast-food restaurants.

 There is plenty of free parking at both Queen of Peace in Gainesville and St. Joseph in Jacksonville.

 A special Eucharistic Congress event for young adults is Saturday evening, June 18. They will gather from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for a Theology on Tap program with guest speaker Joe Melendrez at the Legacy Ale Works (14965 Old St. Augustine Road) in Jacksonville.
