The Bishop Kenny Council will be hosting its annual Easter Basket distribution for Foster Children in the Jacksonville area. This years event will be held on Thursday, April 4th beginning at 10am at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1509 Hendricks Ave. The Knights welcome Easter baskets for children, especially teenage foster Children. Teenage items requested are toiletry items such as: combs, toothbrushes, fingernail polish, etc… Candy is also welcome. (State law prohibits, political, religious, or commercial advertising items.) If anyone or any ministry would like to make an Easter Basket, the Baskets can be dropped off at the KofC Hall on Thursday , April 4 or at the back of the Assumption Church Sunday, March 31st.
